Desarrollo de la tecnología de energía undimotriz OWC (Oscillating Water Column).

Analysis of the Oscillating Water Column (OWC) concept combining experimental studies at different scales (wave flume, wave basin), which will be replicated using different complexity numerical models. The results of each analysis will be used to estimate full-scale energy production, which will be compared with open-sea prototype data (Mutriku Wave Power Plant). Thus, the influence of the hypothesis done and scale effects over the production estimation will be assessed. Grid connection will also be studied throughout all the stages of the analysis.
