The Need for a Simplified Concrete Water Footprint Methodology

The aim of this project is to propose a simplified water footprint methodology for concrete production -cradle to gate.  

With this concrete water footprint methodology, we aim to contribute to environmental assessment by allowing the industry -including large companies as well as SME- to use it for identifying water impacts reduction opportunities and minimization by applying the methodology in their day to day decision making resulting in benefits for the environment, the economy and society. 

In general, we seek for innovation that comes from working between disciplines, academia and business, communities and cultures.
